Bulk Purchase Plan

Building a group of islanders who want to install solar significantly decreases the cost for everyone. Panels can pay for themselves in as little as 5 years.

CICSA is seeking at least 25 interested home owners and other commercial establishments to join in a consortium to put up 2 or 4 kW of solar on the south side of their facilities. If we can, we expect we can get the net cost down to just 30% of the retail value of solar through a competitive solicitation and a number of federal and state grants under the Inflation Reduction Act. If successful, then each of solar installation should pay for itself in five years or less.
This is not a for-profit business program but a non-profit activity promoted by the Cranberry Isles Community Solar Association. If you are interested please respond here and we will be in touch with you.
